14--hidden track--

Released by Blind Beggar Records in 2001.

Didnt know about this record until earlier this year and  can't believe i had missed such a killer album. It's soft Oi! mixed with streetpunk with one of the sickest vocalists i have ever heard. Underdog theme going through the whole album and only a handfull of songs are less than fantastic.

Skunx - Call Girl Tramp Demo Cassette (2012)

Punk/Oi! from Canada
Tracklist:
01. Call Girl Tramp
02. Antisocial
03. Terrorist Attack
04. Destiny

Uploaded some of these songs back on DownUnderground in 2011 after the band sent me some promo. Now they have finally recorded it to cassette and it sounds just like i wanted it to do. It's a trashy demo with a constant guttersound and even if the drums might be a bit of at some parts the bass is fucking incredible. Please Skunx  don't ever get signed and step into a proper studio. You are pretty just the way you are.

V/A - Thunder in the north Cassette (1994)

RAC/HC compilation from Canada
Tracklist:
01. Ragnarok - In blood, in faith
02. White riot - Stomping time
03. Excessive force - Oh valhalla
04. Involved patriots - On its way
05. Odins law - White revolution
06. White riot - Victory
07. Excessive force - Stand up
08. Involved patriots - Vintage saga
09. Odins law - Eric banks lives on
10. Negative response - War on Geraldo

Released by White Terror Records in 1994

Some proper hateful lyrics here so unless your "openminded" about these things then stay away. Might not be the best stuff out there but it sure is rare. It's also quite interesting out of a collector standpoint since the respected HC band Negative Response features with a song on this quite controversial cassette (also i think some members where in White Riot).

Sons of pride - The glory and the horror 7'' (1995)

Oi! from Canada
Tracklist:
01. The glory & the horror
02. Strong & free
03. Sneak attack

Released by Kickback Records in 1995.

The opening track is still one of the greatest Oi! songs in my book. FIrst time i heard them was on the Backstreets of American Oi! and since i most often just breeze though CD booklets i thought they where from America for some years. Perfect rough and slow sound like many of their US neighbours (Patriot etc) where into during the 90's.

The glory & the horror

Blue Collar Boys - Demo

Tracklist:
01. Beers and cheers
02. Canada first
03. Canadian way
04. My rifle

Excellent Canadian band that never got any "hype" or recognition and later branched of into other projects like The Brutes and the nowdays active True Grit. Don't know exactly when this demo was recorded but i recall hearing it for the first time in early 2009 so i guess 2008 or 2007?

Tracklist:
01. Through my eyes
02. Nowhere and fast
03. Body Bag (Effegies cover)
04. Fuck off and die

Released by Oink! Records in 1998.

My copy of the EP was to damaged to even make a decent rip from so thanks to Brian Guy for the rip (my phot's though). Good hybrid of faster HC punk with Oi! influences.

King Size Braces - Land of broken dreams CD (2000)

Oi!/Street punk from Canada
Tracklist:
01. This One's For The Boys
02. Let's Get Pissed
03. Land Of Broken Dreams
04. My Neighborhood
05. Don't Turn Your Back
06. The Bond's Still Strong
07. Beer
08. These Same Streets
09. One Against The World
10. Friday Night - Saturday Night
11. Fallen heroes
12. Drink Till You Fuckin' Puke
13. Brotherhood
14. Born To Fail

Released by Squigtone Records in 2000.

If anyone should do Oi!-inspired street punk then the Canadians are the people to man that position. Time and time again this red and white country has proven that the genre can exist without becomming overly childish or "lucky 13" in itself. I am thinking about this band and bands like The New Breed and compared to their counterparts in the US the redwhiteandblue looks quite weak in comparison.
Born to fail is just one of those anthems you need from time to time when stuck in dead end jobs and traveling with smelly commons on the buss/train, just rise above and leave the gun at home.
If you enjoy then be sure to pick up the re-release by Working CLass Records that came out last year (the one with the awefull Vietnam cover).

Legetime violence - Legetime violence (video)

While on a roll why not a video of one of their best songs.

Legitime Violence - RocknRoll (video)

Footage from the alternate concert Legitime Violence held after some events that took place in Quebec (and the events that the last video was an answer to). Cheers Chiftelos

"After having sustained a biased smear-campaign aimed at discrediting the Quebec City band Légitime Violence, local activists pursued their self-righteous crusade by threatening with physical violence and bodily harm the organisers of the alternative music festival Envol et Macadam. Choosing not to jeopardize the festival's staff, the band volunteers to be removed from the event's roster and play their own show that same evening. These are the highlights of that day."

Légitime violence - Anti Rash Action (A.R.A.)

Superb song and as current as ever with most "nonpolitical" bands doing compilations against a next to non-existent enemy within the scene, namely the nazi skinheads. Are they really that strong or are you guys simply trying to be accepted by people you shouldnt care about in the first place? Whatever the reason is here is Canadian band Légitime violences answer to a way larger "enemy" that no one seems to care about when cleaning out their scene-closet.

Punk/Oi! from Canada
Tracklist_
01. Antisocial
