When studying is fun.

As a grand finale when reading webcoding and webcreation i will do a discography site (information and Adobeflashy designs not music for downloads) dedicated to all things involving Glen Danzig. While hunting down information and releasedates i stumbled across some really intresting videos that i havnt got a clue who owns the rights to but that are really interesting. Covers and mash-ups!!

Acoustic cover of Mother

The doors - Mash-up

Celebritycover of  Devils plaything

Shakira mash-up (fake)

Lemonheads cover of Skulls

Classic bookreview (wolfs, satan and nazis)

..no i will not post the knockout clip..

Above the ruins - Songs of the wolf (1986)

New wave/Neofolk from UK
Tracklist:
01. Waiting
02. Roses
03. Last rites
04. Under western skies
05. Song of the wolf
06. Hundred flags
07. Progress
08. Make us strong

Released by First Floor Records in 1986. Originally released on cassette in 1985 and was later released on CD at two different occations.

A "post-punk" project started by Tony Wakeford after he got booted from Death in june because of his involvement with BNP. He later started Sol Invictus and trashed this sideproject. Because of it's anti-communist message and some lyrics questioning globalisation and multiculturalism the rest of the artists remained anonymous.

Song of the wolf

Derrick Morgan - Moon hop LP (1970)

SKA/Reggae from UK
Tracklist:
01. Night at the hop
02. Oh babe
03. Let's have some fun
04. Man pon moon
05. Just a little lovin'
06. Moon hop

08. Give me lovin'
09. The story
10. This aint my life
11. Wipe these tears
12. Telephone

Released by Pama Records in 1970.

As hard as knowing what nationality to give this record i think he lived in Britain during this time (used to live in the states before) although he was still a Jamaican citizen (right?).
A nice and mellow rocksteady album way better than the political bullshit reggae he released in the late 70's.
A big file but a great rip so well worth it.

Oh baby

Thanks to Rioux for sending the album.
Even though the album consists of liverecordings from The Reverb Room in Auckland it's quality and lack of any other releases (except that EP) makes it count as a proper studioalbum in my book atleast. A damn great album and probably the best band out of New Zealand.

Out of a thousand and counting this band is one of the few that has made a good version of Spencer's old classic. Overlooked band.

Oi!/Punk from Netherlands

Asta kask - En tyst minut 7'' (1984)

Punk from Sweden
Tracklist:
01. Vietnam
02. Demokrati (Democracy)
03. Varför? (Why?)
04. Ångest (Anxiety)
05. Landsplikt (National duty)
06. En tyst minut.... (A moment of silence...)

Released by Skvaller Records in 1984.

The fact that the words on the frontcover (A moment of silence) next to the dead body isnt an anti-war message but instead refers to a member of the band loosing his bicycle pump during a show is both morbid and quite fun.

Asta kask - För kung och fosterland 7'' (1984)

Punk from Sweden
Tracklist:
01. Mänsklig existens (Human existence)
02. Ringhals brinner (Ringhals is burning)
03. Hjärndöd (Braindead)
04. PS474

Originaly released in 1982 but re-released by Rosa Honung with this red cover in 1984.

Thanks to a damaged record two of the songs are taken from a CD.
Still to this day Swedens best liveband and the only band that would actually travel outside of my town to see these days.

Perkele - Göteborg 7'' (2003)

Oi!/Punkrock from Sweden
Tracklist:
01. Göteborg (Gothenburg)
02. Sanningen (The truth)
03. Du fattar ingenting (You don't get it)

According to the bandphotos in the EP their bassplayer (Chris) is a fat white guy.... good record though.

White noise - The first assault LP (1989)

Oi!/RAC from Australia
Tracklist:
01. Clockwork violence
02. Army song
03. Rebels
04. Paranoid
05. Psycho
06. Head kicked in (cover)
07. Weekend binge
08. Culture shock
09. We don't need it
10. Sick mind
11. Riot
12. Reaper

Released by Rock-O-Rama in 1989.

A superb band with a sad faith they brought upon themselfs. Just like early Brutal attack it has a political edge but nothing really to extreme and if they would have called themselfs Riot Noise or something else instead and skipped track 2&8 this LP would have been hailed as an Oi! classic today. As it turned out this LP is just another "nazirecord" in the line of many burried under the PC-sands of time. Believe the hype, give it a shot, it's well worth it.

Sick mind

08. Shishimaru - Senkura
09. New dawn - Hiroki sora no shita
10. Empi - Bosyuu ni omomuku

Released by Hata-Age Records in 2003.

Probably the best intro to a record ever. Most of these bands are to damn good to be ignored just because of speachbarriers.

Raiya - Garou 7'' (1995)

Oi! from Japan
Tracklist:
01. 餓狼
02. 白き悪魔
03. 猛虎の魂

Released by HG Fact in 1995.

Ouka - Demo cassette (1991)

Oi!/RAC from Japan

Baseball furies & The mamat's - Split 7'' (1988)

Oi!/Punk from Japan

03. The Mamat's - To sex, to money 1,2,clash
04. The Mamat's - Mammoth flower

Released by Berna Kikaku in 1988.

A longforgotten Oi! act making a split with an even more forgotten punkact. It's almost scary how many of these great bands there are hidden around the world.

Dion & the Belmonts - Wonder why (video)

Few songs make me as happy as this one and i can proudly proclaim that i now own the original pressing of this expensive little gem. Sadly enough i wouldnt even dare to put this one up here since the site would be shut down within weeks.

5eme Colonne - Bordeaux 7'' (1994)

RAC/Oi! from France
Tracklist:
01. Bordeaux
02. Tous uns

Released by One Voice in 1994.

Lots of guitars and lots of rhythm, solid A-side.

Legion 88 - Terroristes 7'' (1987)

RAC from France
Tracklist:
01. Terroristes
02. Vaincre

Released by Rebelles Européens in 1987.

Brutal and bonecrushing sound with an evil and distant bassline going all the EP through. Militant music for the politically incorrect but also one of my favourite French EP's of any genre.

Flesh D-Vice - 12 inches of hard flesh LP (1983)

Punk/Oi! from New Zealand
Tracklist:
01. Baby of my mind
02. Dead girls
03. War-boots
04. Fuck off embarrasment
05. Friday nights
06. Desolation dogs
07. Kill that girl
08. Well?

Released by Jayrem Records in 1983.

A band that the 50+ hardrocker behind the counter at my local usedrecords-store got me into last year (never heard of them before). According to him it was Oi!, according to me.... dont know but it's bootboy related atleast. The B-side is soso but the A-side is some of the best i have heard (check out War-boots and Fuck off embarrasment).

Fuck up's - Al's my pal 7'' (1994)

Oi!/Punk from Norway
Tracklist:
01. Al's my pal
02. Watch your back (Cock Sparrer cover)
03. Sweat little meat'o'mine
04. Borstal breakout (Sham 69 cover)

Released by Knock-out Records in 1994.

A very typical Norwegian sound (atleast the humor). Sweat little meat'o'mine is an awesome track even though it has the creepiest backup vocals ever.
