"Ninja" drinking game

Nevermind the robotic messenger and the Garfield phone, instead do a shot for everytime someone says ninja and see if you can make it through the first 10 minutes. A movie everyone should see mainly for it's deep philosophical and political value

Selfreleased by the band in 1982.

Legendary band from Gävle, Sweden that some claim was the first Swedish Oi! band with the charismatic Zluggo on vocals. One of Swedens most hated band for many reasons and even got a digital virus named after themselfs (haha). Most lefty punks never liked them for their clear nationalistic and anti-zionist messages in their songs and most on the extreme right hated them for their clear anti-racist messages.... the rest of us hated them because most of the time they simply sucked at playing music haha. This record was recorded with only a month of musical experience in their trunk and it is plain to hear, but hey it's punk so what did you expect. Me personally have always prefered their more Oi! oriented second LP called "Våldtäkt i vinyl" (will upload some other day).
Those who need more should check the band out since they re-united in 2006 and still do shows.

Lost in translation #007: Asta Kask - Välkommen hem

A personal favourite of mine in 80's Swedish punk and something as unusual as a Swedish song about Vietnam veterans.

He read about it on the banners, he listened to his fathers nagging
"My son you know your duty, go to Vietnam for your land!"
Through recruitment he joined the rank,s even though his convictions swayed
With the rifle proud in his hand, he went into war for his land

But his choice was far from easy, it never felt quite right
He cried every single night, he cried for every life he had taken
But when he saw Uncle Sam, drop his leathal napalm
His emotions they ran cold, and pain flooded into his bones

From USA to Vietnam, Welcome home!!
From USA to Vietnam, Welcome home!!
From USA to Vietnam, Welcome home!!
From USA to Vietnam, Welcome home!!

In the backalleys of US ghettos, our hero can now be seen
Alone on his heroic crusade, alone in the world of drugs
Forgotten by the same nation, he spilled blood for in Vietnam
Because heros of his kind, are comfortable to forgett

From USA to Vietnam, Welcome home!!
From USA to Vietnam, Welcome home!!
From USA to Vietnam, Welcome home!!
From USA to Vietnam, Welcome home!!

He still has one in the chamber, left for one last killing
One last life for Uncle Sam, he took his own life for his land

From USA to Vietnam, Welcome home!!
From USA to Vietnam, Welcome home!!
From USA to Vietnam, Welcome home!!
From USA to Vietnam, Welcome home!!

Asta Kask's first LP. The songs in the upload is from the CD-reissue from the 90's basicly because i cant find this original record anywhere. The lyrics and the length of the songs should be the same though so see it as a better quality upload of the LP.

10. Vanvett - Arbetar blues (Workers blues)

Released by Åminne Räckårds in 1981.

Probably one of the rarest Swedish punkrecords to date with only a handfull of copies out there and obscure bands that no one but Swedish music nerds or people in their 50's that spent their youth in little Värnamo has heard about.
Most songs are far from good but the band Tvärtom is bloody fantastic and needs some recognition today.
High quality scans of the albumcover and aditional information can be found here (number 17). If anyone needs any of the records posted in that list i might be of help so please let me know.

Miami connection Sountrack

Soundtrack from America
01. Dragon sound - Friends
02. Dragon sound - Against The Ninja
03. Lloyd-Richards - Escape From Miami
04. Lloyd-Richards - I Love You
05. Lloyd-Richards - Tae Kwon Do Family
06. Lloyd-Richards - Tough-Guys
07. Jon McCallum - Trainyard MC
08. Dragon sound - Friends (instrumental)
09. Dragon sound - Against The Ninja (instrumental)

So cheesy and so 80's it hurts and soothes at the same time. Few other albums has lyrics about ninjabikers and killing drugdealers combined. The record never had an official release (atleast to my knowledge) but the band released a 7'' in 2012 on some grindhouse label. Check out the review i did for the film here.

Performing Jinx Army at a show back in 2003

Lost in translation #006: Jocke Karlsson - Alonzo

In relation to previous post where i translated Död åt alla (Death to all) i will also post Jocke Karlssons from such bands as (Battle Scarred, Pitbull Farm & Pluton Svea) answer to the song. The "Pascalidou" character that he talks about is Alonzo's wife who is a known "immigrant personality" in Sweden.

Now listen up all Swedes, I will try to be brief, about Michael Alonzo and my disgust for his kind.
Foreigners who think they can conquer our Sweden, those are the kind that we dont really need.
With deaththreats against us and our Nation, how can immigrants like you speak up against us?
But in this Anti-Swedish rule it seems to be ok, to mock our people and piss on you and me.

No one here is forcing you to stay in our land so get on the next plane and leave our soil!
And please take Pascalidou with you when you leave, and I hope and I pray that the wings fall of.

When he mumbles about crushing racism here and there, it is obvious that the fool is talking shit.
Racism means Swedish when he speaks his words, you dont need to be Einstein to read between the lines.
Throwing stones in glass houses is all that he can, fbecause the biggest racist of all of us is him.
"Death to all blonde wholesome Vikings!" those where his words, a bigger Anti-Swed is hard to come by.

No one here is forcing you to stay in our land so get on the next plane and leave our soil! And please take Pascalidou with you when you leave, and I hope and I pray that the wings fall of.

When a Swede has had enough and his patience runs dry, he yells: "Ungrateful immigrants should all be thrown out."
Then the people in power go out on their crucade, suddenly its hatespeech and you will end up in jail.
But when Michael Alonzo say the same thing about us, Swedish justice looks through their fingers again.
If a proud Swede like me wrote the laws of this land, then Michael Alonzo would start to count his days.

No one here is forcing you to stay in our land so get on the next plane and leave our soil! And please take Pascalidou with you when you leave, and I hope and I pray that the wings fall of.

Lost in translation #005: Stockholms Negrer - Död åt alla

A song that never made the album but was released on a single's b-side instead. The songs message is to all Swede's (Alonzo was/is an immigrant) but should be taken for the same thing as most extreme rightwinged songs at this time. Youth revolt and an attempt to be obcene. With that said i must say it has one of the worst lyrics in punkhistory but since it was requested i giveth...

If you had the same pants that i have on then maybe you could dance just like i do
If your mouth was as big as the one I got then you would say the same things that I say
If you wasn’t so god damn weak you would dare to say no
If you wasn’t so god damn weak you would stand right here next to me

Death to all, death to all, death to all blonde wholesome Vikings
Death to all, death to all, death to all blonde wholesome Vikings

If you had the same intestines that I have you would get (unclear lyrics)
If you only understood a little bit more you would understand what I say
If you had the same pants that i have on then maybe you could dance just like i do
If your mouth was as big as the one I got then you would say the same things that I say

Death to all, death to all, death to all blonde wholesome Vikings
Death to all, death to all, death to all blonde wholesome Vikings

--Here Alonzo goes on some speech about how he will bring terror to Sweden and people will be terrified but half of it is nothing but noise and incomprehensible---

Death to all, death to all, death to all blonde wholesome Vikings
Death to all, death to all, death to all blonde wholesome Vikings
Death to all, death to all, death to all blonde wholesome Vikings
Death to all, death to all, death to all blonde wholesome Vikings

White lightning - Destiny LP (1990)

Oi!/RAC from Australia
Tracklist:
01. Australian youth
02. We rule!
03. Lest we forget
04. 1000 new years
05. Howling
06. Old battalion
07. Freedom's flame
08. Destiny

Released by Rebelles Européens in 1990.

Take note that this is the LP version of the record and has nothing in common with the CD release by the same band. The two releases are based on two completely different recordings and not only is this recording way superior it also has some differences in the lyrics.

This record is in my book one of the greatest ever recorded and just like Fortress this Aussie band had a sound that few has been able to copy since.

The band never quite got the glory they should have gotten until recent years when non-political bands like T.H.U.G. has made covers of the bands songs both live and on records.

We rule!
